"We delight in the beauty of the butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty"
― Maya Angelou
I have a lifelong commitment to working with children and families. I started my career as a teacher with a focus on children with special needs. Because of my skills and knowledge of children, adolescents and families, I became an advocate for children’s rights after law school and learned firsthand how to work with families in distress. Later, I took leadership roles in the corporate and non-profit sectors including serving as the CEO of a social service and educational agency serving diverse and vulnerable children and families.
After years of being an executive in corporate and nonprofit leadership roles, I returned to my roots to work with families and individuals as a Marriage and Family therapist.
I have worked with just about any problem an individual or family can face. Most importantly, I care about the people with whom I work and strive to provide thoughtful and caring support through the therapeutic process.
I also provide Telehealth Services
